Ambassador to address university students about EU-Bangladesh relations

On 28 March 2007, Ambassador Dr Stefan Frowein will address students of East West University.

Master's courses (Business Communication and International Business) at East West, one of Bangladesh's top private universities, cover the EU, which is the country's largest export market.

The Ambassador’s address will focus mainly on the role of the Treaty of Rome in paving the way for European integration, the functions of the different EU institutions and EU-Bangladesh relations, with particular emphasis on EU-Bangladesh trade relations. At the end of the lecture, the Ambassador will take questions from the students, and handover some EU publications and multimedia materials for master’s students to use as reference materials.
