The concert is being organised by the German Embassy (representing the EU presidency for the first half of 2007) in Nicaragua in collaboration with the EU Commission’s regional delegation in Managua. The performance will take place in the Nicaraguan National Theatre "Rubén Darío" on 22 and 23 March 2007.
The performers will include one of Nicaragua’s finest chamber orchestras, "Camerata Bach" and other musicians from throughout Central America.
The Nicaraguan National Theatre "Ruben Dario" is a leading venue for cultural life in Managua, including music, theatre and the visual arts. It is housed in one of the country’s most prestigious architectural jewels, classified as part of Nicaragua's national cultural heritage.
