Series of debates on EU topics in big Bulgarian universities moderated by prominent personalities from the EU member states and institutions, Western Balkans and candidate countreis. The debates will end up with a regional youth conference with participation from the above countries

The main objective of the debates is to mark the 50-year experience of successful EU construction as a source of inspiration for cooperation and prosperity of the region and the young people there.

The programme includes the following topics:

The EU Enlargement and the Regions - a historical overview of EU’s regional development.
EU’s European Policy of Integration - a review of the integrative capacity of the EU and its impact on the acceding states and their regions. Case studies
The European Fathers and the EU Today - a comparative analysis.
What role for the EU in the Region?

Discussion tables will take place after the presentation of each topic
