Celebrating the 50 years of the EU - European Social Model and Employment: towards a cohesion society

Ministers and local authorities along with civil society organisations, will discuss the achievements reached by the European Union in the social area, as well as the challenges that lay ahead.
The discussion will focus on topics such as the achievements of the last years, problems linked to the demographic challenge, and the functioning of social security systems.
Information material will be available to students taking part in the event. Sketches drawn by the students during the event will be incorporated onto a giant banner that will be shown during the celebration.
The EUROPE DIRECT local relay will also take part in the event.
