Special Radio Programme from Brussels

The leading radio news programme in Catalonia, "El Matí de Catalunya Ràdio", will use the Commission Headquarters to broadcast a show devoted to the 50th Anniversary of the Rome Treaty.

The live broadcast, which will include an interview to the President of the European Commission, José Manuel Barroso, will be devoted to EU topics.

The programme, one of the most popular radio shows in Catalonia, is presented by Antoni Bassas. Bassas and his team will also broadcast in Brussels a special programme dedicated to the 50th Anniversary of the Treaty of Rome. The live broadcast will last five hours (from 7am to 12pm) and include an interview with the President of the European Commission, José Manuel Barroso as well as other representatives of the EU institutions.
