"Giant Puzzle Europe" at the Plaza de Oriente

"Giant Puzzle Europe" at the Plaza de Oriente

Four orchestras of four schools of Madrid will play a concert while other students build a giant puzzle of 27 pieces (27 Member States) and place the 27 national flags. 

The event will take place in Madrid, at its Plaza de Oriente, on 23rd March at noon and it will have two different parts:

- concert by orchestras of British Institute, German School and two Madrid schools;

- institutional event consisting of some students reading the Preamble of the EC Treaty in Spanish and in French, Italian, German and Dutch (the first official languages), while other students build a giant puzzle of 27 pieces (27 MS) and place the 27 national flags.

The event will be closed by European, diplomatic and Spanish personalities speaking to the public and by the European hymn played by the 4 orchestras.
