50 years of the Rome Treaty - International Symposium

Researchers from all over Europe will debate EU issues and challenges at the first European Meeting of Grenoble.

Well known academics and EU experts including Pierre Moscovici, Michel Rocard, Alfred Grosser, Paul Magnette, Benoît Hamon, Claire Gibault and Guy Bono will share their valuable experience on European Construction with the participants.

Topics to be discussed at the event include EU enlargement, sustainable development, the monetary union, the European defence policy, the Franco‑German ‘couple’ and European public space.

The three-day debate is being organised by the students and educational team of the Master Europe course, in cooperation with numerous universities, local associations and the Rhône-Alpes Region.

Even though the event is specifically designed for teachers, researchers and students, the symposium will be open to everybody interested in the topics addressed.
