The seat of the European Parliament in Strasbourg will be staging its traditional ‘open day’ on 1 May. The famous institution will be opening its doors to the general public, who will have the chance to visit stands, listen to debates and attend concerts.
The European political groups and the various services of the Parliament will be on hand to answer visitors’ questions and discuss their work.
Strasbourg is the seat of the European Parliament, but most activities take place in Brussels, where a second ‘open day’ is being organised on 5 May.
Open days are staged successfully each year by all the European institutions.
