"EU Citizens: are they an informed public?"

Seminar that is designed, within the framework of the 50th anniversary of the signature of the Treaty of Rome in 1957, to allow students at the Dublin Institute of Technology and the general public to hear the views of a range of speakers and voice their own opinions on whether they are sufficiently informed about Europe, to air their views on today’s Europe, and to express their aspirations for the future.

Presentations by a eurosceptic former MEP, a former finance minister, a journalist and the Head of the European Parliament Office in Ireland on the above subject, followed by a Q & A session. Chaired by the Head of the European Commission Representation in Ireland. To be followed by a reception hosted by the European Commission Representation in Ireland.
