United Europe: a fifty-year challenge.

The University of Genoa is organising a three-day conference to celebrate 50 years since the signing of the Rome Treaty.

The event also aims to propose new ideas for a European relaunch. Genoa, the home of Giuseppe Mazzini, an Italian patriot who fought for unification of the continent, and of other "advocates of the European project", will play host to the conference.
