Europe Day Annual Lecture

‘Can the EU Survive another 50 years?’ is the topic of the first Europe Day annual lecture to be held on 9 May as part of the festivities to commemorate the Schuman Declaration. This year, the event is also celebrating the 50th anniversary of the EU.

The first Europe Day annual lecture will be held under the auspices of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The paper, on the theme identified for this year, will be presented by the Hon. Dr Michael Frendo, Minister of Foreign Affairs.

The lecture will be followed by a question and answer session at which the audience will be invited to open a debate and exchange ideas on the subject.
