Winners of the 5th annual “European Reporter” contest for 2006 will be awarded on March 23 in Bucharest, Romania.
The event is being organised by the Delegation of the European Commission that had previously launched a contest for Romanian journalists working with written, audio-visual and online media and dealing with European integration topics.
Award giving ceremony would be linked to the celebrations for the 50th anniversary of the Rome Treaty. Journalists and representatives of accredited media together with the EC Representation will all take part in the ceremony. A cocktail reception organised for the participants will conclude the event.
