During the first day, participants will discuss the assessment of including citizens and NGOs in drawing up policies at European level, and will present the role of NGOs in this process. The second day’s main issues include: Slovenian citizens and NGO participation in dialogue with the EU institutions and examples of good practice in Slovenia.
The first day of the conference (9.00-15.30) will begin with an assessment of including citizens and NGOs in drawing up policies at European level and presenting the role of NGOs (national, regional and European NGO networks), to be followed by a discussion.
The second day (9.00-17.00) is aimed at encouraging greater participation by Slovenian citizens and NGOs in the dialogue with EU institutions by presenting examples of good practice carried out in Slovenian NGOs, sharing experience with representatives of European NGOs and forming proposals on how to improve communication, networking and cooperation at local, national and European levels.
