OPEN MINDED VOLUNTEERS NEEDED -"COOL CREATIVE TEAM - LANTERNS DESIGN"

ONLY 3 places free!! Are you ready for an artistic adventure? The "COOL CREATIVE TEAM" project is open for submissions! We invites you to a new ESC 59 days project, aimed to design of LANTERNS!, architectural renovation, creating theatre parade. We are looking for 12 people to bring new life to the old train station in Hajnówka, to create mega lanterns, props and have fun to take part in parades. Are you an artist, maker, a builder, do-it-yourself enthusiast? Do you ever dream about working in eco style, but never had a chance to try it? Want to try yourself in interior design?We've got you covered! It's your chance to participate in the creation process of a unique space in East Poland - arts, education and cultural centre with strong support of voluntary activities.There will be time to make installations and participate in street art creations as well as wall painting, cleaning, woodcutting. All that's necessary to slowly morph an old railway station into cultural hub of our dreams.

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements

We are part of the European Solidarity Corps, so your age should be 18 to 30 years. - We will provide the volunteers all their costs: one way tickets, accommodation, money for food/or we will provide all food, pocket money - Volunteers will live in hostel in train station and in an agroturistic house with other volunteers in a shared room (2-3 volunteers in a room) in Hajnówka town in Podlasie, a unique region in eastern Poland with a rich history and traditions, surrounded by beautiful Białowieza forest. Training during the activity

You will learn new and unique techniques of reconstruction and construction lanterns. You will create new ones, repair and restore old lanterns, take part in musician and theatre rehearsals. Maybe you can have the opportunity to take part in building an artistic installation in urban space and in the forest, and the creation of festival advertisements in the urban space. You will get to know the region - the extraordinary Bialowieza Forest. You will get to know regional artists and techniques of working with straw We will exchange experiences and you will share your knowledge with others

Participant profile

We're looking for people with initiative, own ideas, ready to build a team and not afraid of hard work, on daily basis believing that nothing is impossible! We will need working people with skills in technical staff and people with artistic experience and hand craft are welcome. If you have experiences work with paper, creating eco sculptures-perfect! If not - this is possibility for you. Maybe you want to help preparing food for team, carry on caffe point? other ideas - welcome What we need from you: open to experiments, group work enthusiast, work with French lanterns design artist.
