The Phoenix, Freedom and Liberations: International Campus

Young people from 17 European countries are currently attending a collective educational course to build together their ideal of Europe. 400 young people will meet in Turin at the end of March for “The Campus” project, spend one week together and attend workshops and discussion groups.

The project "The Phoenix - Freedom and Liberations" is an initiative centred upon the promotion of European active citizenship.

The working days during The Campus are organised in six workshop sessions, and each workshop concerns a theme. Each participant has the opportunity to prepare one workshop, and to attend another three in person.

The objective of the discussion , besides sharing everyone's thoughts on the matter discussed, is to identify some questions that participants consider as particularly important for the definition of "our ideal Europe".

The questions will be immediately transformed into multiple-answer questionnaires that will be posted on a dedicated section of the Phoenix website. When the workshop session is over, a voting session will open. All participants are asked to fill in these online polls . The results of the vote will then be published immediately on the website itself.

On 24th and 25th,the group deliberations will be suspended in order to give participants the opportunity to go to Rome and take part in the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Treaty of Rome and the commemoration of the Fosse Ardeatine massacre.
